The Happy Hands project was created in collaboration with Handswork, a weaving workshop in Bozen-Bolzano that provides work rehabilitation for people in addiction recovery. To increase visibility of the association, we organized a weaving workshop at our university during the international Fashion for Future event. The workshop connected Handswork makers and students, fostering the exchange of weaving techniques and promoting the use of recycled materials. To make the craft more accessible, we designed and provided do-it-yourself (DIY) weaving kits.
To make your own weaving kit, download the free lasercut file and go to your closest FabLab or Makerspace.
