Drawing to unwind at school

Target Group: Middle school classes

Time frame: min. 45 min

Material: Paper, oil pastels, markers, colored pencils

From personal experience, I know what it’s like to constantly strive for high performance and set high expectations for myself. Although I managed to do this for a long time, I eventually realized how exhausting this constant pressure to perform can be. This experience has shown me how important it is to consciously create moments of calm in order to stay healthy, focused, and balanced in the long run.

The workshop addresses this topic and invites students to reflect on their own experiences with stress, pressure to perform, and periods of rest. The goal is to develop an awareness that rest is not a sign of weakness, but rather an important resource.

Through simple exercises and reflection periods, students discover ways to find calm in their daily lives, reduce stress, and recharge their energy.
